Kindergarten

The goal of our Kindergarten program is to foster Jewish values and to develop enthusiasm and a love of our beautiful heritage. The program’s primary objective is to encourage independence and develop a positive, happy self-image for our students in preparation for Elementary school. Skill development, through the use of educational material, enhances language, reasoning, and motor skills. Our integrated approach combines Yiddishkeit with art, music, movement, dramatic play, science, math, language and cognitive activities.

Since the early years are crucial in forming a child’s self-image, we use specific praise to reinforce any positive behaviors with an aim to make each of our children feel special. We concentrate on developing the “whole” child, socially, emotionally, linguistically, cognitively, and physically. We take each child from the level at which he or she is at and encourage constant growth through providing challenging and age appropriate activities that both encourage a questioning mind and increase knowledge and skills. Above all, we want our children to love school, enthusiastically observe mitzvos, and be lifelong Torah learners.
